The Beatles Now Available on iTunes!

 

The bold message across on iTunes’ homepage reading “Tomorrow is just another day. That you’ll never forget.” left many music lovers wondering what big announcement Steve Jobs could be making in the early hours of Tuesday morning. An unlimited downloading music subscription? A new gadget?

Nope, even better…[lastfm]The Beatles[/lastfm]’ music a finally available for download on iTunes!!

The announcement was made a 7 o’clock sharp this morning that “the band that changed everything came to America. Now They’re on iTunes.” After years of legal battle with the group’s recorded label EMI Group Ltd., they finally reached an agreement with Apple to start selling The Beatles’ music online.

You can now download all your favorite Beatles songs for your iPod from all 13 original studio albums, or download the complete Beatles box set.

The following can also be downloaded:

* The two-volume “Past Masters” compilation and the classic “Red” and “Blue” collections

* A special digital “Beatles Stereo Box Set” containing the 13 remastered studio albums as iTunes LPs with all mini-documentaries, “Past Masters,” and the “Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964” concert film, a worldwide iTunes exclusive which captures the Beatles’ very first US concert in its entirety.

* The option to download individual songs from all the albums and the box set

In addition, Beatles fans can stream and view the “Live at the Washington Coliseum, 1964” concert film from iTunes for free until December 31 2010.
