[lastfm]Sir Paul McCartney[/lastfm] is a self-proclaimed huge fan of South America and Latin American people, so it’s not surprise that his ardent fans created a ‘Paul McCartney Village’ before his show at the Beira Rio stadium in Porto Alegre on Sunday night, November 7th.
Sir Paul McCartney hasn’t been to Brazil in 18 years, but absence makes the heart grow fonder for crazy [lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm] fans. While fans were in line for the November 7th show, they created a ‘Paul McCartney Village’ as early as last Wednesday, November 3rd.
It’s a good thing that McCartney loves the continent, “I love South American audiences. I always think I have Latin blood because I connect so strongly with their love of music and their love of rhythm and their love of melody, so I always feel like I have a very big bond with South American people and Latin people in general. So yeah, I’m bonding, man!”
