Wines That Rock brings music and wine together for music fans, offering wines like Woodstock Chardonnay, [lastfm]Rolling Stones[/lastfm]’ Forty Licks Merlot and [lastfm]Pink Floyd[/lastfm]’s The Dark Side of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon. There’s been a new wine added to the all-star line-up: [lastfm]The Police[/lastfm]’s Synchronicity. The wine is a red wine blend of both light and dark reds: Carignane, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache and Viognier. Winemaker Mark Beaman listened to Synchronicity while crafting the wine and was inspired by [lastfm]Sting[/lastfm]’s vocals and the themes of light and dark in the music as well as the term “synchronicity” (meaning a mix of seemingly unrelated events that result in a significant sum). Beaman feels that this wine reflects synchronicity as The Police interpreted it though their music, bringing unexpected flavors together and highlights the many facets of both dark and light found in Synchronicity.
