The late-great, King of Pop had many famous children over at Neverland Ranch, including musical hit maker and producer, [lastfm]Mark Ronson[/lastfm]. Ronson (who has worked with some of the best modern musicians) used to be a regular at [lastfm]Michael Jackson’s [/lastfm]infamous sleep-overs.
Mark Ronson–the musician/producer/DJ who helped make pop musicians like [lastfm]Lily Allen [/lastfm] and [lastfm]Amy Winehouse [/lastfm]famous–was extremely fond of Michael Jackson but as a kid was too embarrassed to tell his friends that he and his mate, Sean Lennon (John Lennon’s son), would go to the King of Pop’s abode. He explained: If I bragged about it I knew that one of two things would happen: a) the kids would think that I was full of s**t or b) they would think I was obnoxious and I’d get a slap for it. All in all, it was better to say nothing.
Despite that, Super-producer Mark Ronson had a great time and elaborates on what it was like to be a kid at Neverland Ranch:
All kids love Michael Jackson, he had some sort of effect. I would watch footage of him when I was older and you’d see these kids of 12 and 13 who weren’t even born the last time he put out a good album but they’d be screaming and fainting. It’s just so crazy that in some ways he was like this magical Pied Piper. He was just like a big kid. He just seemed like a kid that never really got to grow up.
