I went with a group of friends to Wolfgang Puck’s new restaurant WP24. The menu is Asian themed and wow is it delicious! You may have seen the new Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Downtown L.A. where you can find the restaurant on the top floor. As you can imagine, the views are spectacular.
Check out the view from one of the windows of the dining room
My foodie friends ordered a lot of different items which were all beautiful to look at and even better to eat. Check out this Dumpling Sampler from the appetizer menu:
All of our entree’s were lovely. If you’re like me it’s hard to pass up soft shell crab in a great restaurant. It’s only in season for a short time in the summer, so you’ve got to get it while you can…and I did! Here’s my beautiful plate:
And for dessert… we had many things including this chantilly meringue with coconut sorbet, fruit puree and marinated plums. It’s nickname is The Death Star and it was awesome! The taste was obviously created for an adult palate. It had lots of flavor and wasn’t too sweet. Check out The Death Star…
So, if you’re looking for a cool, new restaurant downtown with incredibly delicious food, great service and stunning decor, I can give “two forks up” to Wolfgang Puck’s newest, WP24.
This restaurant review is based on my personal experience and WP24 didn’t give me anything or pay for me to write this review. I just hate it when people have bad experiences when they go out to eat and I would like to point you in the right direction.
