Are you the ultimate Dead-head (except independently wealthy with about $4 million dollars hiding under your tie-dyed duvet)? [lastfm]Jerry Garcia[/lastfm]‘s rock ‘n roll palace in Marin County is for sale. It might even include hoardes of devoted followers selling hemp bracelets outside the door.
Garcia suffered a heart attack in 1995 and his 11-acre estate in Marin County was the bandleader’s last home.
The sellers are asking about $4 million for the 7,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home. Included is a 1,500-square-foot artist’s studio, a solar-heated pool, an organic garden and a 300-degree views that span the Berkeley skyline to the Pacific Ocean.
That sure beats living in a van with some hippies!
