Paul McCartney Preps Re-Release Of “Band On The Run”
[lastfm]Paul McCartney[/lastfm]’s Band On The Run, with his group [lastfm]Wings[/lastfm], might be his most successful post-[lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm] work. The album went platinum three times over and was McCartney’s first post-[lastfm]Beatles[/lastfm] number one record. Now, fans will get a chance to experience it again, along with some special extras, as McCartney is ready to re-release it to the world!
Along with the CD, extra features will include a DVD with home movies from the recording of the album and the “One Hand Clapping” television special, a hard-bound book with previously photographs and artwork and more. It will be available as a one-disc, three-disc, four-disc or vinyl package, the latter of which will include a digital download.
The re-release is the first in a series called the “[lastfm]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] Archive Collection,” and is scheduled to hit stores on November 2nd.
