Well it looks like it’s official. According to [lastfm]Rolling Stones[/lastfm]‘ drummer [lastfm]Charlie Watts[/lastfm], the band will begin their 50th Anniversary Tour sometime in 2011.
It was back in July when rumors started that the guys were in talks with concert giant Live Nation about putting together a “massive farewell stadium tour.”

Watts told French newspaper Le Parisien “We’re discussing it at the moment. We said that if we do something, it will be next year or the year after.”
It’s hard to believe, but by 2013, band members [lastfm]Mick Jagger[/lastfm], [lastfm]Keith Richards[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Charlie Watts[/lastfm] will all be 70-years-old. Guitarist[lastfm]Ron Woods[/lastfm] is only 63, the youngest of the group.
