Michael Jackson’s Kids Struggling Socially At School
Since [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]’s death, his children Prince, Paris and Bucket have had to deal with so much. This fall, Prince (13 years old) and Paris (12) are getting their first taste of schooling outside the home – but are struggling because of their security detail.
Sources are saying that Prince and Paris aren’t making many friends because the security detail assigned to the two of them is scaring off the other kids at The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley.
“The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids,” according to the source. “And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris.”
Blanket, eight years old, is still being homeschooled, as he is considered too shy right now to do well in a school setting.
“I think they have a better chance now,” said longtime [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm] friend [lastfm]Lionel Ritchie[/lastfm]. “I think they have a better opportunity to live a normal life. … It’s hard to be [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm]’s kids because you’re out and it’s you with [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm], and he was larger than life.”
This past Sunday would have been MJ’s 52nd birthday. We still miss you, Michael!
