Last year on “Jersey Shore: Reunion,” the cast voted Ronnie Ortiz as the best dancer, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino as the worst.

Here’s hoping he’s gotten better in a hurry, as The Situation will be making the leap to network television to compete on “Dancing With The Stars.”

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that, while ABC does not make the competitor list public until closer to the start date, The Situation will be fist-pumping his way through the next “Dancing With The Stars” season.

This has some of the best train-wreck potential ever:

• Can The Situation work the fist pump into DTWS’ heavily-choreographed routines?
• Can The Situation find a costume to show off his abs – the only reason he can really be considered a “celebrity?”
• The practice schedule for competitors on this show is grueling. Will The Situation have time to GTL while learning the cha-cha?

Most importantly: Will he at least do better than former Congressman Tom Delay?
