Some sad news. Doctors have discovered that Michael Douglas has a tumor in his throat! The Oscar-winning actor will have to undergo 8 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy but his doctors say they expect the 65-year-old actor to make a full recovery. In a statement to People.com Michael said “I am very optimistic.” He thanks everyone for their prayers! Doctors won’t confirm whether the tumor is cancerous but radiation and chemo says enough! He lives in Bermuda so treatment will be close to where he and his family reside. Next up for Douglas his sequel to Wall Street “Money Never Sleeps” due out September 24th!!!
As if Mel Gibson doesn’t have enough on his plate! Now a car crash! Apparently it’s not just his life that’s spinning out of control. Now it’s his car too. Sunday night Mel’s Maserati slammed into a Malibu hillside along Malibu Canyon Road. The car spun out of control and careened off the road. Luckily the 54-year-old actor escaped injuries!
No booze or drugs were involved according to CHP and for once Mel was very cooperative and respectful according to the officers on scene. Mel told the cop he had no idea how the vehicle drifted he claimed he was not on the phone or texting at the time of the accident. And really if you know that road you could sneeze the wrong way and drift. The car was towed away with moderate damage and some officers are speculating that Mel fell asleep at the wheel! The good news Mel is fine!
