This could be a really good Monday for Lindsay Lohan. According to Radar Online Lindsey could be released from Lynwood as early as this afternoon. After serving only 6 days of her 90 day sentence Lohan is expected to leave the correctional facility even earlier than expected after her 90 day sentence was already shortened to 14 days. According to RadarOnline, the judge agreed to grant Lindsay two days credit for time previously in custody, and that’s not the only factor, Lynwood seems to be overcrowded. On Friday one of the bling ring robbery girls, Alexis Neiers was released after serving just a fraction of her sentence for over crowding. Lindsay was set to be released either August 1st, or 2nd, but now it looks like she won’t have to wait until then. Upon the completion of her stint in jail she will go directly to a rehab facility where she will have to stay for the full 90 day sentence, no short cuts there. According to Radar online Lindsay will be getting out of jail in the nick of time. Apparently her inmates are not crazy about her. They claim her presence in the jail is a huge inconvenience for all the other inmates.
Simon Cowell has made his living off of being sharp-tongued and sarcastic, but now it appears that attitude could cost him.
If I’m being honest I don’t know what took so long. Cowell is being sued by a former Britain’s Got Talent cast off. Emma Czikai, a 54-year-old, woman is suing Simon for $3.8 million after being booted from the talent show back in 2009. After singing just a few notes of the ballad you, “Raise me up,” judge Piers Morgan buzzed her off, then Simon, then the 3rd judge followed suit. Cowell said, “Emma this is a beautiful song when you’re not singing it, you have a horrible singing voice” he continued with a reality check Emma, “It’s not the music on the microphone, it’s you.” In the suit Emma blasts Britain’s Got Talent for including her embarrassing audition in the broadcast despite a letter she had sent to Cowell explaining her bad audition. In the letter she blamed her poor audition on a health condition that sometimes impairs her singing. She went on to claim that she was treated like a modern-day slave and says she filed the suit in order to retain her self-respect and dignity. If she prevails in court she will donate all the money she is awarded to charity.
Amanda Bynes has unretired from acting.
This could be the quickest retirement and unretirement in entertainment history. Just a month ago the “What I Like About You” cutie tweeted she was giving up her acting career. You may recall back in June, Bynes tweeted she was done with the Hollywood scene because she was not having fun anymore, and decided to move on. She tweeted, “I know 24 is young to retire” but never the less she retired, that was then this is now. Today Amanda Bynes say’s she’s un retired, so why the change of heart you ask? She says it was a hasty decision out of frustration and she’s back and ready to promote her new movie “Easy A” which hits theatres September 17th.
