Checker commented, “When you’re on the floor dancing to Lady Gaga, Chubby Checker is there.”
He threw a special anniversary performance at the Philadelphia City Hall on Friday to mark the song’s milestone. The crowd all twisted along in delight, some even invited onstage with Checker to show off their best moves.
