Previewing his Motown cover album that hits stores September 28, [lastfm]Phil Collins [/lastfm] travelled back to the time of beehives and glitz and glam performing an all Motown/soul tribute concert.  Covering classics from [lastfm]The Temptations[/lastfm], [lastfm]Miracles[/lastfm], [lastfm]Stevie Wonder[/lastfm], [lastfm]Smokey Robinson[/lastfm] and more, Collins didn’t disappoint with his huge backing band, including members of the [lastfm]Funk Brothers[/lastfm] and [lastfm]Genesis[/lastfm], and sharing the stage with his peppy backup singers.

The audience’s reaction and enthusiasm proves these classic tunes never go out of style and the fact that [lastfm]Phil Collins[/lastfm] is really just the man.  Check out Collins’ amazing range in some shaky, amateur YouTube videos…ah, you’ll get the idea.
