Yeah, the summer solstice doesn’t happen until June 21st, but traditionally, the feeling and the mindset of summer begins early; during the Memorial Day Weekend (next weekend)!

We were thinking about all of the songs of summer that played on our transistor/car/receiver/clock radios during the great years of Top 40 radio.

We’ve come up with a list (there are a lot of summer songs, in fact, maybe second only to Christmas songs)!
